Hello Otterites! (Image from the I. W. Harper web site)

We’ve been busy here at the Brotherhood the last couple weekends. Robert’s post detailed our recent foray to Holy Land (Nelson County) to lament and celebrate the Sherwood Inn. I so wanted to buy a Sherwood t-shirt but they were fresh out. Still, a whale of a good time. We did miss Cajun, but he was winging his way to the Big Easy.

This weekend was a recording weekend, and we delved and dove into all manner of topics from sexually induced narcolepsy to the Jungian dual nature of mankind. Why Rabbit Hole Bourbon isn’t in partnership with us has to be one of life’s great mysteries, as rabbit holing is our second nature (after just generally shooting off our pie holes). One episode was supposed to be about GK Chesterton, another about resolutions and commitments, and yet another about film director Ridley Scott. Hopefully we hit close to the mark with each. A rollicking discussion to be sure, certainly goosed along by Robert’s 5 (!) bourbon tasting flight. Was a great pleasure to share a quick taste of Booker’s with the Brotherhood. All the guys were in top form, and Francis’ return from mirror universe bondage was most welcome. He divulged no secrets to the mirror Cardassians or Kardashians, whichever it was. He didn’t break and insists to this day there were only 4 lights.

Francis’ turn now all, I’ll step aside and let him run with it. Just a great Christmas warm up to spend time with the Brotherhood. Merry Christmas to you Otterites. Peace of the season.
